Why Pride Institute?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addiction treatment. Non-LGBTQ+-specific substance use treatment facilities are often uninformed about LGBTQ+ issues, and some even hold outdated beliefs regarding the relationship between addiction or mental health concerns and the LGBTQ+ experience. All in all, in treatment programs that do not cater specifically to LGBTQ+ individuals there can be barriers to successful treatment that one will not find in programs like the ones at Pride Institute.

Here, we nurture personal growth, resiliency, and overall wellness for the individuals in our care. That understanding, along with our community-driven ethos, has helped us build a strong network of Pride Institute alums who support and encourage each other during and after treatment.

Pride Institute is committed to providing individuals in the LGBTQ+ community a welcoming space for recovery through evidence-based treatment for substance use, sexual health, and mental health.
